  KEY DESIGN DECISIONS
  --------------------
  1. initDateTime() pre-fills today + now+30min on fresh load.
     Save starts INACTIVE because date is pre-set (Save requires no date).
     Intent: most authors publish, not draft. Pre-fill saves 4 clicks.
     Draft authors consciously clear the date first.

  2. Schedule hint is ONE div — text + color swapped by _updateScheduleHint().
     4 states, one visible at a time (never multiple hints).

  3. Material Symbols Rounded (FILL=1, wght=400) throughout.
     Old Material Icons library NOT used anywhere on this page.

  4. Nav entirely owned by cpbp-nav.js — zero nav HTML in this file.
     cpbpNavConfig tells nav which pill buttons to show when signed in.

  5. Page background: #f8f9fa (std_design.md standard).
     Previous #f0ebf8 lavender replaced — matches Workspace visual language.

  6. All 4 footer buttons start inactive. updateFooterButtons() drives state.
     Inactive = opacity 0.4 only. Never hidden, never color-changed.

  7. _inFlight Map guards all 4 footer buttons against double-click.
     Save + Publish additionally guarded during async Cloudflare Worker call.

  8. poll_id generated SERVER-SIDE by Cloudflare Worker — not in browser.
     Browser receives poll_id in Worker response after successful publish.
